3 KIKO openings in one month: Rennes, Marseille, Montpellier

KIKO Milano Rennes • Marseille • Montpellier

In February, Digital Novva Partners led the IT deployment of three new KIKO Milano stores, opened simultaneously in Rennes, Marseille and Montpellier.

Three cities.

Three different technical environments.

The same level of expectation.

Our mission: to ensure that each point of sale is fully operational from the first day of opening, in strict compliance with the group's technical and safety standards.

In a retail environment, IT is not just a support function.

This is the foundation of business performance from day one.

A standardized and controlled IT retail deployment model

For these three openings, the deployment relied on an identical, reproducible and secure methodology.

Each store benefited from the same level of requirements and the same structured process:

Installation of point-of-sale (POS) systems

The payment systems have been installed, configured and tested to ensure a smooth start to transactions.

Reliability, speed and compliance with group standards were systematically validated before opening.

Workstation setup

The iMacs and desktop computers have been configured to allow store teams to be immediately operational: access to internal tools, secure connections, network integration.

Deployment of mobile payment solutions

iPads and mobile payment terminals have been integrated into the IT infrastructure of each store to ensure mobility and fluidity on the shopping floor.

Complete structuring of cabling and connectors

Each store has been undergone rigorous setup of network arrivals and departures.

The connectivity has been identified, structured and documented to ensure readability and simplified maintenance.

Installation and documentation of computer racks

The IT racks were installed, connected and coded with accurate documentation.

This step is essential to ensure continuity of service and facilitate any subsequent intervention.

Activation of internet connections and validation of network flows

The connections have been activated, tested and secured to ensure the stability of transaction flows and data synchronization.

Multi-site: the complexity is not visible, but must be managed

Deploying an IT infrastructure in a store is one thing.

Doing it simultaneously for three stores is something else.

Every store site includes:

  • Different ans specific technical constraints
  • Distinct intervention resources
  • Synchronized planning of actions
  • Unplanned risks to mitigate

Our role is not limited to technical installation.

We have handled:

  • The coordination of hardware engineers
  • The detailed planning of installation activities
  • Anticipating points of friction
  • Securing store opening deadlines

En Retail, un retard IT peut compromettre l’ouverture commerciale.

In Retail, an IT delay can jeopardize the business opening.

Novva Partners' Digital expertise in IT Retail deployment

These three openings illustrate our ability to standardize store IT deployment while maintaining a high level of quality at each site.

Our added value lies in:

  • A clear and reproducible field methodology
  • In-depth knowledge of store networks and payment systems
  • Rigorous multi-site coordination
  • An approach focused on service continuity and business performance

We don't just do IT installation.

We secure the opening of points of sale.
